Having a small greenhouse in the back yard was one of the best presents ever! There’s just a special sort of joy having flowers blooming in the dead of winter. Of course being in a milder climate helps as the sun does 90% of the heating.

And seeing new growth on preciously struggling plants adds joy. Our house is quite dark except in one room and that room is very cold in the winter (the studio).
