16 hour days……

Crazy busy right now. Three days canning, I finished at 2:30am Tuesday morning. Back up at 7:30 to do chores, then had errands all morning and a guild meeting last night.

And oh what a meeting! Our program this month was a fabric rep showing the latest samples from Houston market. There are some gorgeous fabrics coming in 2025…….I may just break my budget plans!

Finally got to bed around 11:45 last night and slept! Apparently I slept really, really hard…until a certain cat bit my nose just past 6:30 this morning. She was concerned because only two of four bowls had food in it. 🤦‍♀️ In her defense, she doesn’t bite hard, never breaks skin and only bites when she feels she’s lacking food or water, never out of meanness or spite. I can accept that in a rescue who was a stray. At one point she didn’t know when she’d eat next and thankfully she doesn’t gorge like a certain dog I rescued once did!

And today seems to be characterized by waiting…..and waiting…… and

Waiting. 🤣

So that is a quick recap of the week to date. I have a few days in the studio coming up, so hopefully a little more interesting content in the future.

In the meantime, I want to decorate for Christmas. We have a compromise that Christmas decorations don’t go up until after Thanksgiving. But I really want to decorate early this year…… and such are the dilemmas of my world, immaterial and inconsequential in the larger scheme of things, dilemmas for which I am grateful.
