Quilting

One of the great things about life right now is that I can physically quilt again.

On the frame today is an antique quilt a friend brought me. It’s getting a simple meander on it.

And yes, as all antique quilts do, it has some issues which we are both aware of. But it feels good to have the ability to quilt again.

While not how I had hoped it would look, there are times when puckers and gathering are unavoidable. Due to the piecing and the age/fragility of the fabric, this was our best option.

And it will be loved when it’s finished. That’s the most important part!
