A friend is doing NaBloPoMo for November, a challenge to blog every day for a month and reminded me she would love to see my blog if I decided to republish it. I had closed it because I’m in an in between space right now. But thought I would give it a go on November 1 and see if I even have anything worthwhile to post daily.
Well, of course, the first day I ended up under the weather after a stressful few days. Not unusual, but 12 hours of sleep later and I’m at least drinking a coffee this morning.
So, a little catchup. I mostly retired from longarming last December, but kept the business open for special orders, commissions and my Etsy shop. In doing that, I closed the blog because I didn’t think I would have much to share.
But surprise, life is just as full and busy as ever, only in different ways. Example, just this morning when I went to do chicken chores )’(I have 19 now), Izzy (calico kitten) darted out the back door which required being creative to lure her back to the house. Of course the dogs (all 4!) knew she wasn’t supposed to be outside so they chased her, the wrong direction! Eventually I was able to get a hand on her to catch her, and oh the purring as I brought her back inside from the big scary world. But she’ll do it again, she’s a crazy calico and this is the second time she’s decided to dart out the door and explore.
And that’s just the start of the day, who knows where it will go from here.
So today I officially return to blogging (at least for a bit) and see how I feel, and if anyone is interested in the ramblings of a semi retired creative woman who lives a crazy life in the country.
Oh YAY!!! I’m so glad you’re back!!! I love reading about your life and creative pursuits. 🙂
Picture of busy calico escapee please. Glad to hear from you, again.
